PORTABLE EYE WASH STATION SERVICE

  • Examine and clean your eye wash station on a regular basis
  • Replace water and bacteria killing preservative every 3 months, or as soon as we have been notified of the station’s use
  • Replace the cleansing cartridges every two years, or as soon as we have been notified of the station’s use
  • Check that caps and tag with tamper seal are in place to prevent contamination
  • Sign and date the inspection tags at each inspection, which helps support OSHA compliance
  • Once notified of an incident at your facility, Firefighter Safe will immediately schedule an Eye Wash Maintenance Service


PLUMBED EYE WASH STATION SERVICE

  • Yearly testing to ensure that the station is within compliance guidelines
  • Testing for cleanliness and readiness of use on a regular basis
  • Advise facility of any trip hazards, recommend removal
  • Clean the exterior bowl
  • Check that the nozzle covers are in place and operating properly
  • Test that the caps release immediately and run the water for 5 seconds
  • Instruct employees on a simple weekly testing regimen
  • Sign and date the inspection tags at each inspection, which helps support OSHA compliance
  • Once notified of an incident at your facility, Firefighter Safe will immediately schedule an Eye Wash Maintenance Service
